Dr. Chris Wenburg is a 2006 graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. He furthered his education and training through an Implant, Cosmetic, and Reconstructive Dentistry residency at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2006-2007.
Dr. Wenburg is a part-time instructor at the UMKC School of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Greater Kansas City Dental Society, and Missouri Dental Association.
Dr. Wenburg has dedicated his professional career to continued learning and development. He spends much of his free time away from work expanding his dental knowledge by reading new material, taking courses, and attending lectures. Dr. Wenburg is passionate about patient care and making sure patients' needs are met.
Dr. Wenburg received the 2011 distinguished Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). The Fellowship award is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. He is currently a peer-reviewer for the Academy of General Dentistry's professional journal, General Dentistry, and on the American Dental Association's Clinical Evaluators (ACE) Panel.
