A composite filling is a tooth-colored plastic and glass mixture used to restore decayed teeth. Composites are also used for cosmetic improvements of the smile by changing the color of the teeth or reshaping disfigured teeth.

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is surgically anchored into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth, bridge, or denture in place. The benefit of using implants is that they don't rely on neighboring teeth for support, and they are permanent and stable. Implants are a good solution to tooth loss because they look and feel like natural teeth.

Veneers are ultra-thin shells of ceramic (porcelain) or a composite resin material, which are bonded to the front of teeth. This procedure can be the ideal choice for improving the appearance of the front teeth. Veneers are placed to mask discolorations, to brighten teeth, and to improve a smile.

Dentures consist of a dental prosthesis that replaces the natural dentition and associated structures of the maxilla or mandible. It can be supported solely by the mucosa; its underlying bone or dental implants can be added to help retain the denture or even make it completely fixed in your mouth.

Dr. Wenburg has completed thousands of extractions, including infected and broken teeth along with wisdom teeth. Many extractions can be completed in the office with local anesthetic and techniques to ensure your comfort.

A root canal is a procedure done to save the damaged or dead pulp in the root canal of the tooth by cleaning out the diseased pulp and reshaping the canal. The canal is filled with a rubber-like substance called gutta–percha to prevent recontamination of the tooth. The tooth is then permanently sealed, with possibly a post and/or a crown made of porcelain or metal alloy. This enables patients to keep the original tooth.

Is a special event coming up, and you want your smile to be its brightest? Whatever the reason, tooth bleaching isn't just for movie stars, and it isn't just for one day. Many people have had their teeth whitened, and probably millions more are thinking about it. The desire for a brighter smile with whiter teeth is very strong, and tooth bleaching safely lightens the color of the teeth. We offer options for the most effective and safest methods of tooth bleaching.

Even though dental materials and procedures keep improving, there is still nothing that functions better than your natural teeth. Regular dental cleanings or prophylaxis are essential to keeping your natural teeth and preventing future problems and disease in your mouth.
